The Telegraph Garden project by Andy Sturgeon at Chelsea Flower Show 2016, featured the portuguese limestone Perlina.

The finish of the islands was a special finish created according to Andy Sturgeon’s specifications. After some tests and keeping a natural look, we reached the desired finish, complementary to the overall garden design.

The limestone Perlina, with a fare share of fossils and of a light beige color with some natural variations was perfect for the intended look -as there were two distinct finishes this project: a more rough and natural one on the islands – recreating the natural variation of the stone; the other, slightly honed with enough friction to walk safely in suspension bridges.
